Timothy Owens

Tim Owens is a wonderful human being, but as a supervisor, he is below average. He fails to keep the team informed and is aware that his Team Lead, James Smith, is failing at his job, but he does not hold him accountable "AT ALL". The weekly Team meetings are filled with irrelevant information, and updated information is frequently provided late or only upon request. He rambles on and on about what he believes the team should be doing but provides no specific direction on "Any" subject. He enjoys stating that the team can express their emotions and discuss any topic in an open and honest forum, but he fails to create this space. He fails to adequately train the team, as if he is unaware of the procedures. He does not perform as a genuine leader, as if he was only appointed because he was the best applicant at the time. He is incapable of gauging the actual temperature of the team and does not monitor its or its members' performance. He frequently expresses or utters incorrect statements, which he must retract. As a leader, he lacks managerial skills, his teams success is only due to his team members being competent in their positions. If remedial training was available for his position, he would be at the front of the line.
