Karen is an incredibly smart VLJ who should have been promoted years ago over many other far less qualified VLJs. Her knowledge of VA law is quite extensive, given her many years running the Training Office, and she has incredibly high standards for the attorneys who write for her. I would be thrilled to write for her and learn from her. If you can't cut it in this job, Karen will not have sympathy for you. If you try hard, you will profit from working with her.
