Mary has been a joy to work with. She is extremely knowledgeably, very generous with her time, and highly attentive to those around her. She is quick to celebrate personal successes with you. Mary has a quiet personality, but is far more smart, warm, and supportive than she is quiet. I would not risk trying to change her.

Mary Sorisio is incredibly smart although also shy and comes up somewhat short in the interpersonal skills department. There are few attorneys who knew more about how to adjudicate a claim and I doubt that has changed since she became a VLJ. She deserved her promotion, unlike so many promoted alongside her or since her promotion (including her husband, Paul, who got the very short end of the stick on brains). Mary's intellect shines through in her written and signed decisions. She won't open up to you right away or even after a long time but she will show you how to be a better Board attorney.
